Senior Software Engineer (AI team) | Europe Remote

Intron8n is a low-code platform for workflow automation and AI app integration, designed for technical users. It simplifies connecting to any app or API and enables the incorporation of AI into business processes. n8n is Source Code Available and has a passionate and engaged community of builders!We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI team which focuses on giving people the building blocks on n8n to build reliable AI Applications (such as AI agents & AI assistants). This is a vital part of n8n's strategy going forward as we already see tremendous growth in this area at n8n.Responsibilities Strong proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, with at least 5 years of experience, preferably on a cutting-edge tech product Proven experience in designing and building scalable backend systems capable of handling large volumes of data, including expertise in Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) concepts and implementation You do not need to have built AI models, however you should be passionate about the AI space, and big bonus points if you have built applications that are utilizing AI in some capacity Experience in consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs Solid skills in relational database design, SQL programming (SQLite, PostgreSQL) Keen interest in open-source technologies Bonus points You have started and built something from scratch such as leading a new initiative at your company, founded a company or built a side project many people use (could be non-monetized) Familiarity with cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps knowledge, and/or experience with Vue.js Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation with equity options, 30 days holiday plus public holidays, €1k a year for career development, remote work within Europe, and a culture that values transparency and giving back to open source projects.This role can be done from anywhere within Europe.
