Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Payment Frontiers team, whose mission is to empower ourCommercial and Finance teams with the right tools and pricing capabilities. You will be responsible for delivering a sophisticated, accurate and performant payout system which provides input for various Product Engineering Teams in the Settlement & Reporting area. We work in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to work from home while also meeting in our office regularly. Responsibilities: Build and enhance applications that enable growth for our customers by ensuring appropriate pricing and fee capabilities are available. Design systems based on requirements by our product organization as well as non-functional requirements to ensure long-term success. Partner effectively with product, QA, other engineering teams and stakeholders to drive improvements across our organization. Improve our engineering processes and efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvements and driving those changes. Qualifications: Must have: BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant engineering work experience. Experience with: Java, Spring, test automation, CI (Github, …), databases (MySQL, Amazon RDS, Redshift, …). Able to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and explain technical design, best practices, and integration guides to technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to have: Experience in a financially regulated entity Experience with building event streaming systems using Kafka to meet scaling and reliability needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
