Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in optimizing pipelines for training and delivering customer-specific AI models, extracting data for training models, and utilizing extracted data for large language models (LLMs). You will play a key role in accelerating our AI strategy, contextualizing customer information from ERP and PLM systems, and leveraging third-party/external databases to generate supply chain models. What You’ll Do: Pipeline Optimization: Develop and optimize data pipelines for training and delivering customer-specific AI models, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Data Extraction: Extract and prepare data for training models, with a focus on quality and relevance for LLMs and other AI applications. AI Strategy: Contribute to and accelerate Makersite’s AI strategy by integrating advanced AI techniques and models. Contextualization: Contextualize and interpret customer information from ERP and PLM systems to enhance data-driven insights. Third-Party Data Utilization: Leverage external databases, including sector-specific databases, to enrich supply chain models and enhance data accuracy. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the data science team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Customer-Specific AI: Develop standardized vanilla AI models as well as tailor customer-specific AI solutions, addressing data quality and gaps. The Right Person Would Have: Education: Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data science or a related field, with a focus on AI and machine learning. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks. ERP/PLM Systems: Experience with ERP and PLM systems, and the ability to contextualize and utilize data from these systems. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with third-party and sector-specific databases, and experience in integrating these into data models. Leadership: Proven track record of leading data science projects. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and unstructured data.
