Senior Field Application Engineer

Our client, an award-winning developer of wireless self-powered devices is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE). This role can be based out of our client’s R&D Centre in Munich, or remotely. Our client’s products are used in smart homes, buildings and industrial applications to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprints. As they continue to expand, they need a Senior Field Application Engineer to work as main technical interface between customers, sales, product management and development teams. The Senior Field Application Engineer will: Support customers in Germany and abroad with technical aspects related to hardware and software products Advise customers on product integration (for instance circuit diagram, layout, antenna design) Contribute to the further development of the company’s radio standard Interface with R&D and Product Marketing on new product definition and contribute to the further development of the company’s radio standards The right candidate will have: A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field A background in analog / digital circuit technology and the associated measurement technology Experience in the field of radio technology Skills in C / C++ programming Excellent verbal, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ideally with previous experience working with customers Strong language skills in German and English The ability to travel A competitive salary package is on offer with a variety of benefits, including the option to work from home and flexible working hours.
